Wearable Art
There was a fascinating article in the Wall Street Journal about using art as inspiration for clothing. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748703691804575254323401031384.html?mod=WSJ_LifeStyle_Lifestyle_5.
It got us thinking about the art here at Art 3 and what pieces would be fun transformed into clothing. Here are a few of the pieces we think would be amazing. Check out our site and let us know what pieces you would like to wear!

No Appointment Necessary
"I've been absolutely terrified every moment of my life - and I've never let it keep me from doing a single thing I wanted to do."
Georgia O'Keeffe
If you have always wanted to visit a retail gallery but have hesitated, read Georgia's quote again and come on in! No, you do not need an appointment, our doors are open and there is no admission. Art 3 is NOT a museum--we are a lot less formal! And no, you do not have to make a purchase. We can answer any questions, which is more fun for us than just sitting here! But feel free to come in browse on your own and see what you can discover. We are not here to intimidate or to quiz you on your art history knowledge! We welcome browsers, buyers, artists and art lovers.

Reception Reflections
We had a great turnout on Thursday night for "The Light Fantastic" reception. Lots of new faces visited the show and met with a few of the artists. We were delighted to greet many of our "regulars" to Art 3 too!
"The Light Fantastic" is on display until July 9--a bit long for one of our shows but gives you plenty of time to stop in for a visit!
